2010 Kenosha - 2008 Champions Return to Defend Title - Part of IWomen's Baseball Tour to US
Local hometown women's baseball enthusiast, Rob Novotny, coach and manager for the Aussie Hearts Women's Baseball Teams, continues to bring women and young girls who love to play baseball, from Australia to the Midwest to visit the towns, play on the fields and meet the women that are the legacy of women's professional baseball. The Aussie Hearts won the American sponsored women's baseball tournament in 2008 at Horlick Field in Kenosha and received a warm welcome from the American Teams and the former players of the AAGPBL who attended the re-dedication of their field that year and supported the accompanying tournament. Rob currently resides in Australia, but returns with his teams to America each year. Women's baseball and softball tours to the Midwest and Canada have become a popular tour, arranged and supported by Rob and his coaching staff.
