Profile Biography

Mary Lou (Studnicka) Caden was born in Oak Lawn, IL., a suburb southwest of Chicago. Later, the family moved to a farm in Palos Park, IL. Her Family included her late parents, John and Marie Studnicka; seven deceased brothers: Johnny, Frank, Mike, Bobby, Tom, Tony, and George; and her late husband, Paul J. Caden, who passed away in March 2003.

Mary Lou passed away November 21, 2014, and she left behind three daughters: Pauline (Indiana), Laura, and Elizabeth. They gave her seven grandchildren and at least six great grandchildren as of 2015.  Her late husband, Paul J. Caden, had three daughters, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Most of her life, Mary Lou was active in bowling, softball, and golf.  She also embroidered quilts and was a hospital/hospice volunteer.  She was also active at Christ Lutheran Church in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.  When Christ Lutheran started a Community of Joy mission church in Hot Springs Village, she went with them. She served on the church council, the altar guild, helped with communion, was a greeter, and made coffee at Community of Joy Church.
