BIO by- Mary Lou Studnicka CadenHometown: She was born in Oaklawn, Ill., a suburb southwest of Chicago. They then moved to a farm in Palos Park, Ill.Family: Her late parents, John and Marie Studnicka; seven brothers - Johnny, Frank, Mike, George, Bobby, Tony and Tom, of whom only George is still living; her late husband, Frank; three daughters: Pauline, of Lake Station, Indiana; Laura, of Chicago; and Elizabeth of Fort Benning, Georgia; seven grandchildren, the youngest is five and the oldest is in the Navy. Her husband had three daughters, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.Hobbies: Most of her life she was active in bowling, softball and golf. She also embroiders quilts and is a hospital and hospice volunteer.Religion: She became active at Christ Lutheran, and when they started a mission church, Community of Joy, she went with them. She is on the council, altar guild; helps- with communion, is a greeter and makes coffee at Community of Joy."We're a new congregation, and we don't have a lot of people," she said.
