Profile Biography
Margaret and her sister ,Helen, were twin sparkplugs in the Daisiy lineups. She became the third sacker with a good glove in Ft. Wayne but she felt equally at home at second or at short. She led the league in fielding average for third basemen. In 1947 she hit a tremendous home run in South Bend that went clear out of the park and was thought to be the longest HR ever hit in the AAGPBL. She played basketball and golf in the off-season.
