Marge had such initial success that she was able to secure the starting shortstop position. Before joining the league she played two Michigan State Championship teams in 1944 and 1945. She graduated from the University of Michigan in education. Her hobbies are photography and basketball. Recognized as a long ball hitter, she gets plenty of doubles. Her long ball hitting added to ability to drive in runs.
