Obituary
Yolande was an outgoing, fun, loving person. Everyone who knew her learned more about themselves by being in her company. At a very young age, she lost her mother and quickly learned to become a caregiver herself. She was a very selfless person who gave lots of herself. Through all of her hardships, she still found the time to become an amazing wife as well as a loving mother who showed that family values are more important than the material things in life. She was always there to lend a shoulder when needed and to provide words of wisdom.
Yolande had many profound achievements throughout her life from standing up for her children’s rights in school to being recognized, along with all former players in the AAGPBL, by the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame for her accomplishments with the League. She lived her life to the fullest, providing herself with experiences that could fill many lifetimes over.
