Profile Biography
NANCY WARREN
Hank left us on June 1, 2001. She suffered from a stroke and as a result her body shut down. She was residing in Largo, Florida.
Hank was a native of Springfield, Ohio and joined the All-Americans in 1946. She was assigned to the Muskegon Lassies where she played for 2+ seasons, moving in 1948 to Chicago, then to Peoria in 1951. The next two seasons she played with Ft Wayne, finishing her career with Kalamazoo in 1954. She played second and shortstop and also pitched. In her 5 years pitching, she had a record 101 wins.
Hank is missed by all her teammates.
Black hair and blue eyes combine to make Nancy a very attractive young lady.Hank was a utility player but she decided to give pitching a try. She worked extremely hard and it paid off as Hank became so successful that she was part of the starting pitching staff. She became a calm, cool deliberate pitcher with remarkable control. In the off-season you could find Nancy doing clerical work. Her other activities included swimming,bowling and music.
