Dan Clark, the South Bend Blue Sox's President from 1945-1950, was also Director of Clark's Restaurants. He was an outstandingly popular and vigorous young business man in South Bend and was well known for his civic work and his interest in the development of youth. Dan was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Notre Dame Alumni Association, an honorary life member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 36, a life member of the International Association of Fire Fighters Local No. 362, and a life member of the Musicians Local No. 278.
