We know that Glenn Maihofer, DDS, served as a bat boy for the Kenosha Comets.  We don't know what year(s) he served as a bat boy for the Comets, so we listed him with the 1943 team.

Glenn T. Maihofer of Cedarburg, WI. Age 79, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 after a fourteen-year battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born to Frank and Agnes (nee Harig) Maihofer on September 11, 1937 in Kenosha, WI. Glenn is survived by his wife of 56 years, Karen (nee Koepke). Beloved father of Lori Yordan, Scott Maihofer, Cheryl (Terry) Matchulat and Amy (Chris) Leidel. Loving grandfather of Sara (Mario) DiBenedetto, Stefanie and Anna Yordan, Ashley and Tyler Maihofer, Tim and Matthew Matchulat, and Jacob and Ryan Leidel; great-grandfather to Drea Maihofer; brother of Richard Maihofer.

Dr. Maihofer was a graduate of Marquette University Dental School in 1962 and practiced dentistry in Whitefish Bay and Shorewood. Glenn served as President of the Greater Milwaukee Dental Assoc. and of the Wisconsin Dental Assoc. He was a member of the Milwaukee Kiwanis and served as a Captain in the United States Air Force. Glenn was an avid sports fan and a season ticket holder of Marquette basketball for 50 years. He and his wife Karen wintered in Estero, Florida for over 25 years where Glenn enjoyed golfing and gardening. He will be remembered as a dedicated dentist who served generations of families in his practice. Glenn loved an evening of grilling, smoking his pipe and sipping on a Manhattan. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Community United Methodist Church (W68 N563 Evergreen Blvd., Cedarburg) with Rev. Dr. David Blackmer presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00AM until the time of service. Private interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Assoc.

The family would like to thank the kind and loving caregivers of Serenity Villa in Slinger for the 2 years they cared for him.
