Donna was a rookie southpaw pitcher for the Rockford Peaches in 1952.




DONNA JOGERST, 68, of Freeport died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000, at her home. She was born Sept. 11, 1932, in Stephenson County to Vernon and Leona (Briggs) Jogerst. At the time of her retirement, she had worked 20 years at Micro Switch. Her memberships included Trinity United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. Surviving are her stepfather,  one sister,  two nieces,  and several grandnieces and -nephews. Her parents died previously. The funeral was held at Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial took place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements were made by Walker Mortuary (Freeport Journal Standard, IL, The Journal-Standard 2000.
