Josephine D'Angelo died on August 18, 2013. She was 88 years old.

Loving sister of Grace Wunder.  Proud aunt of Joseph and Dominic (Armeda) Rubino, Terry (Linda) Sommerfeld and Rosalie (Curt) Kroll. Cherished longtime friend of Marion Shortino. Loving great aunt and dear friend of many.

Before graduation from DePaul University, she was on one of the girls' baseball teams, the South Bend Blue Sox. She was elected to the Women's Baseball Hall of Fame.

She spent many years as a Physical Education Teacher in Chicago Public Schools and Park District until her retirement.
Visitation [was] Thursday from 10 AM until time of Service at 12 Noon at The M.J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago.

Interment [was] private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to your favorite charity will be appreciated.
