On Tuesday, April 5, 2005, Alma P. “Red” Winkler, age 79, of Jefferson Hills, formerly of Whitaker and West Mifflin, died.  She was the daughter of the late John and the late Anna (Roth) Winkler.  She was a member of the Greater Pittsburgh Bowling Hall of Fame.  Her best friend was Virginia Taylor of Jefferson Hills.  She was the sister of Daniel Winkler of Shaler PA and Russell Winkler of FL and the aunt of Rosina Fix, Wilma Gamret, Russ Olsavsky and Judy Taylor.

 Alma was predeceased by brother John Winkler, sister, Anna Bogesdorfer, brother Francis Winkler, sister, Mabel Schiefelbein, and brother, Bill Winkler.

 Her funeral service was held April 8 in the George I. Green Funeral Home, Inc.  Memorial donations were requested to be donated to Family Hospice Palliative Care, Pittsburgh, PA
